In 2017 and 2018, I released an article with a collection of abandoned pianos that I’ve photographed throughout the years. This is part 3 of the series. It is the biggest collection of abandoned pianos that I’ve published on my blog thus far, with a total of 25 photos from mostly unique pianos. I’m a great fan of photographing pianos that have been left behind in the abandoned buildings I visit. When I’m inside in one of these decaying buildings and there is a piano, I imagine the music that would have once played in the building. An abandoned piano is still my favorite object to photograph, and I can’t wait to see many more in the upcoming years.
The pianos in this post have been shot all over the world in different types of buildings. I’ve visited hotels, houses, castles, schools, garages, hospitals, palaces and Chernobyl to photograph them.
